The Perfect End to a Long Week

The perfect way to unwind from a long post-race week

An amazing Pumpkin ale bomber and movies.  Unfortunately, my Dogfish Pumpkin Ale wasn’t available anymore, but let me tell you, I am LOVING this brew. If you can find it, it’s expensive, but delish.  Totally worth a celebratory drink.

I haven’t been all relaxing and unwinding this afternoon  . .

I joined two challenges for this month:

Today is my rest day so I didn’t exactly want to log miles today, but I did walk one mile around the park during my lunch at work.  99 more miles to go for the month of November 🙂

And I failed to mention earlier that, because I like to go BIG, I also joined Piper’s Run in a 30 Day Thigh Challenge

For today I had to do

  • 5 lateral lunges (each side)
  • 10 scissors
  • 5 fire hydrants (each side)
  • 5 Pile Squat Pulses

Easy way to start this challenge, but you know it’s going to get tough.

And now, it’s time to continue drinking my hard earned pumpkin brew, and make my own version of a You Pick Two (for some reason, I am CRAVING Panera.  Who does that?)

An open face sandwich with cheddar cheese and roma tomatoes dressed in vinigerette and greens.  With a small salad very similar to my go-to meal this week.  Greens, quinoa, chicken and roasted onions and broccoli.   YUM.

Have a great Friday night all 🙂

Question of the Night:  What is your go-to meal that is easy and quick?
