Exciting News! I Sweat Pink!

Good Morning and Happy Tuesday Morning everyone!

I woke up with JELLO legs after my work out last night…yikes!   I spent some quality time with my foam roller this morning, and hope to have a few minutes to stretch out during my lunch break at work.  Zach and I have a running date tonight, and his quote this morning was “We’re gonna run fast and we’re gonna run hills.”

Oh dear . . .

I was accepted this morning as a Sweat Pink Ambassador 🙂

Check out this Mission Statement:

We believe that kicking ass is best done in pretty shoes. We’ve learned that real women sweat, and sweat hard. We know that assertiveness, strength, and ambition are the ultimate feminine qualities. We concede that sometimes it takes hours to get ready, but we’re also no strangers to just rolling out of bed and going. We’re convinced that we run faster in pink shoelaces. We believe in pushing ourselves, and we believe in giving ourselves a break, too. We’re all about the rush of endorphins and the thrill of the challenge. We’re all for looking great and feeling even better. We’re committed to finding our best fit, and making it stick. We sweat pink.

I could NOT be happier or more excited for this opportunity.   You all know me, and know that life is all about balance.  And for me, that balance includes getting sweaty and getting pretty.

As a part of this ambassadorship, I will have access to new resources for my own readers, an entire new community to get to know, and even some swag that I will be able to give out to YOU ALL 🙂  You gotta love a giveaway, right?

So while I still get connected and better versed on the opportunity, I’m sure I will be updating you all regularly.  For the time being, check out fitapproach to learn more about the great organization!

Backtrack: Last Night SO CLOSE

Zach is a part of a fantasy football group within his family, so we were tied to the TV in hopes that his last player,  Ron Gronkowski, would pull through to give him the win and a good shot at the playoffs.

Unfortunately, Gronkowski was literally ONE YARD SHY of the win for Zach.  I’m sorry, but with my little understanding I found this to be just a TAD bit funny…but my wife heart did sympathize for him.  Poor guy.

Thank goodness we had delicious pizza to soften the blow.

Last Nights pizza included:

  • yellow tomato
  • green onion
  • kale
  • bacon
  • garlic
  • moz cheese

Zach thought this was going to be an odd combination, but it ended up being a GREAT one!  Pizza night never get’s old. . .

Question of the Morning: What’s the weirdest thing you have ever had on a pizza?

All Is Right In The World Again

That’s right folks.

It’s pizza night in the Jara household.  All is right again.

Nothing like a little football and pizza to make me feel like all is normal in our little world again.

And while I may not be footballs BIGGEST fan, I couldn’t be happier or more comfortable with my night than I am right now.

Perfect way to celebrate 2 months of married life, right?

Ok I swear, I’m done mentioning month wedding anniversaries, I promise.

I’ll try at least ;).

On tonight’s pizza

  • seared poblano peppers
  • chopped purple peppers
  • chopped garlic
  • sauteed spinach
  • garlic
  • bacon (and apparently Zach used the bacon to grease the veggies…he would
  • mozzarella cheese
  • frozen pizza dough

Question of the Evening:  What’s something that makes you feel at home?
