Good Morning and Happy Monday everyone.
Phew, more than normal I am missing this weekend.
Sushi, yoga, movies.
My boy came home!
We hung out at one of our favorite neighborhood spots for good beer, good food and board games.
Spent Sunday morning on the slopse
And we ended the weekend like we do most weekends, with pizza night. And boy it was a good one.
Homemade Pizza
Ingredients
- Sprouts ready to bake crust
- bacon
- mushrooms
- onions
- peppercinnis
- topped with a simple arugula and vinegar salad
The fresh greens on top added a crunch and a nice bitter punch that will absolutely be repeated in the near future :).
Well — the night didn’t actually end there. The sweet and wonderful Cristina at Willing to Lose Weight, Racing to Win sent me a surprise!
Of course Zach and I opened them last night. Oh Trader Joe’s. .. why are you so brilliant? Thanks to much Cristina, you’re the best!! How did I become a part of such an awesome blogging community? I heart you guys 🙂
This Morning
I took advantage of Zach being home and slept in until the glorious hour of 710. It really was beautiful. I’m assuming it’s because of the skiing, but boy we were exhausted last night. Hello 945 bed time! It felt GREAT to allow myself to sleep in and start the week off a little more rested.
Not to mention Zach agreed to go for a run with me this afternoon. . . and I don’t ever pass that opportunity up! Here’s hoping the weather holds for us!
Question of the Morning: Highlight of your weekend! Give it to me!
Dang, it’s only morning, but your pictures make me hongry! Highlight was spending the 80 degree weather saturday with the boy – putt putt and patio bar!
That did look like a blast — you’ve got some cool little ones over there my friend.
highlights of my wknd were seeing the fam, a lil salsa dancing with the bro and friends, and chilling with a cute boy. glad you had a great wknd!
Your weekends sounds pretty flipping awesome! Glad you’re feeling better!
Definitely the surprise party for jeff’s birthday! Or the wine pairing. Or lazy Sunday….
LOL it all sounds wonderful!
That’s it, I need to get back into making homemade pizza stat! Also love Trader Joe’s, that’s so sweet that someone sent you some goodies 🙂 My weekend highlight was a baking rampage, it was delicious and therapeutic.
I need a good baking rampage — my waistline doesn’t but my heart does 🙂
I can always count on you for yummy pizza pics on Monday!
LOL i’m so predictable.
I’m so glad you got it! I was thinking about it all day if they had arrived yet! What did you think? I had to ration mine out so I don’t eat it all in one sitting!
AMAZING. They are SO amazing, but surprisingly rich!
I was surprised at that too since it’s dark chocolate, and the pieces are HUGE! I had to break some of them up. It’s a good treat though. Probably wouldn’t be hard to make either.
I definitely have been breaking them up into smaller pieces, my favorites are the bites with pretzels 🙂
