You know, I’ve heard many times lately that you don’t know how bad you feel until you start feeling better. Well let’s just say I am feeling good today and SO thankful for that! I think a few nights of relaxing, yoga, and a week of good eating have treated me well and my body is seemingly happy again. Perfect timing 🙂
Last night’s Whole Foods bowl was just another repeat (yes, 3 days in a row now. I’m sorry I’m not sorry).
Enjoyed while watching some Real World Ex-plosion . . . don’t judge.
This Morning
It’s a pretty overcast morning here in Denver, so my extra hour of sleep didn’t quite feel like the normal hour that it is. . . but with that said I still got up feeling rested and ready for a recovery run after yesterday’s speed work + 30 minute workout.
Workout of the day: Progressive run
- Start at 6.3 on the treadmill and increased the speed every song until about 4 miles
- Finish four miles and walk it out until 40 minutes
Easy peasy and just what the doctor ordered.
I know this is a short one, but we need to get into work a little earlier than normal today so I gotta run! Have a great Thursday everyone — send good weather vibes Zach’s way so that he makes it home tonight! He’s currently on his plane from Heathrow to Chicago but the weather in Denver is supposed to pretty nasty tonight. . . fingers crossed!
Question of the Morning: What’s something that you could eat 3 days in a row and not be sick of it at all?
I eat popcorn pretty much every day…
I am in Colorado, too (Loveland). We are going to get hit with some (more) snow tonight 😦 I just started reading your blog. Love it. I can (and do) eat peanut butter, sun flower butter, almond butter and/or tahini every day (a few times per day). Slight obsession….
Greek yogurt and blueberries … on day three as we speak! Safe travels for Zach!
I actually love that combo as well 🙂
I eat an avocado just about every day!
That’s a good one!
I eat yogurt and bananas every day already…but I could eat pad thai forever and never get tired
I have really gotten into frozen bananas!
Apart from breakfast, after two days I get bored of every dish …
Normally that’s me, too! Must mean this one is a good one 🙂
They still make the Real World??? Do they still one each of a city person, country person, gay person, African American person, etc.?
Oh no this is a CRAZY one. They’re moving their ex’s in.
I love pretty much any kind of pasta – so I could defiantly eat spaghetti or alfredo three days in a row for sure!
You and me both!
pizza..
I knew somebody would mention that one 🙂
i’m SUCH a creature of habit when it comes to food. i could, and do, eat a lot of things on the reg: Chobani, brussel sprouts, arugula, almonds. nom.
Good choice with ALL of them 🙂
Chocolate everyday, forever. That’s probably a given for most people though so maybe bananas too, heck I could eat both of them everyday.
Ahh yes– every single day for that one.
Swedish fish. 🙂
lol love it!
Heated apple chunks with cinnamon, put over Greek yogurt. Yum!
Uh most of my favorite foods I could eat 3 days in a row without getting sick. In fact, that’s how I get sick of foods- I fall in love, eat them way too frequently, and then hate it for a month or 2.
