Happy Wednesday Everyone! I’ve got a couple things for you today, But since I like to start the day of fun (and with food), let’s begin with What I Ate Wednesday!
I’ve missed the last couple weeks thanks to the holidays and crazy schedules, so I’m excited to share some of eats with you all! Especially because I’ve joined Instagram and can make food look even prettier ;). So, here my friends, are some of my favorite eats of the New Year!
My first meal of the New Year was brunch at Gallop Cafe. Talk about food porn, this was a delicious and beautiful looking meal
Brunch served to us by the directors at our office! Lots of fruit, yogurt and white chocolate chips 🙂
When I get a sushi craving . . . I get a sushi craving! This was actually dinner New Years Day.
Our first dinner out of the New Year, BANG! The cobb salad at this place is something special, trust me.
I’ve been the salad queen this new year! Thank you extra greens this week.
Some delicious homemade meals!
And of course some sweet treats to end the day!

Workout Of The Day
Moving on to the second reason you all stop by! My workouts of the day :). This mornings run was NOT an easy one, which was surprising because I woke up with a bit of pep in my step. Oh well, the tough runs make us appreciate the easy ones, right?
Workout of the Day: 4 miles + abs
- Easy-ish pace with 1 minute spring pace every 5 minutes.

I did an add up of my mileage from last year’s endomondo and mapmyfitness. I need to get myself in the habit of posting them all centrally somewhere and including my gym workouts. I already see patterns, but it’d be nice to have my indoor stuff counted too.
Jeff always gives me crap because while we both like sushi, I’m the only one who will crave it once in a while. I think I really crave the whole experience it creates, and not just the food itself. Such a beautiful production!

I shouldn’t have read this before grabbing lunch [insert growling stomach here]. And I loved my dailymile report, but mine definitely wasn’t as accurate as it should have been haha I forget logging workouts way too much.
It seems like something that SHOULD be so easy, right?
I mean we make the effort to run/workout but not to log it haha
I think it is awesome how even a number your total mileage turned out to be 1300!! For myself, I like rounded numbers like that too, I didn’t get it this year which is of course fine, but so neat to see!
You know I didn’t even notice that until you pointed it out! Crazy!
LOVE that you’re eating so much salad! I eat salad almost every night with dinner- IDK what I’m going to do when Kyle and I move in together. He hates most salad, so I guess I’m going to have to switch to buying itty bitty bags of greens…
Zach and I have definitely found a balance . . . we find ways to prepare one meal, but eat it differently. Not just portion sizes, but to each others preferences!
This is something I will have to learn…or I will gain 50 lbs and die from lack of veggies 😉
