Dinner Plans Got Cancelled

Whomp Whomp.

Thanks to the crazy Denver weather, our dinner plans got cancelled for me for the evening (Zach still went out).

So that left me on my own for the evening.  Hmmm….what’s a girl to do?

What’s a girl to do…

Well duhh…

  • run a couple extra miles
  • do some abs
  • eat some sushi
  • drink some sweet wine
  • eat a cookie

Yup — sounds perfect to me 🙂

So, I hit up the gym

  • Ran 3 miles

Did some quick abs

  • 20 reverse crunches
  • 20 leg lifts
  • 20 bicycles
  • 20 bridges
  • 60 second plank

Picked up some Whole Foods Sushi 🙂

And ate a cookie because of course it’s National Cookie Day (That’s for real…fyi)

So that is exactly what I do when my dinner plans get cancelled.  I guess it’s not always bad when plans get cancelled :).

Question of the Evening:  When was the last time your plans were cancelled? What’d you do?

  1. That sounds like an awesome back-up plan to me! And because we are twins, I guess I don’t have to tell you that I ate Whole Foods sushi for dinner tonight 🙂 Unfortunately I was lame and didn’t know that it was national cookie day…whomp whomp 😉

  2. i hardly make plans because i’m a comittment-phobe haha. no but really, i just live so “in the moment” that sometimes it’s hard to make plans. i usually just roll with things. i always figure if something does or doesn’t turn out like i thought, there MUST be a reason behind it…
