I am SUPER excited to share with you all my first Giveaway on Chocolate Medals!
Per Amazon:
In Mile Markers, Runner’s World contributing editor Kristin Armstrong captures the ineffable and timeless beauty of running, the importance of nurturing relationships with those we love, and the significance of reflecting on our experiences. This collection considers the most important reasons women run, celebrating the inspiring passion runners have for their sport and illustrating how running fosters a vitally powerful community. With unique wit, refreshing candor, and disarming vulnerability, Armstrong shares her conviction that running is the perfect parallel for marking the milestones of life. From describing running a hardfought race with her tightly-knit group of sweat sisters, to watching her children participate in the sport for the very first time, Armstrong infuses her experiences with a perspective of hope that every moment is a chance to become a stronger, wiser, more peaceful woman. Running threads these touching stories together, and through each of them we are shown the universal undercurrents of inspiration, growth, grace, family, empowerment, and endurance.
I read this book over the holiday and was 100% drawn in from page 1. Kristen writes with a passion and honesty that makes you feel like you are actually out there on a run with her, stride for stride.
She loves running and the relationships she has found THROUGH running with such fervor that I promise you, within the first few chapters, you will be calling up one of your friends to go for a quick run…even if you already hit the pavement once that day.
After the first few chapters, I knew this book was perfect for my first giveaway… so here it goes.

And I follow you on Twitter! @Dancing2Running
This sounds like a great, inspirational read! I need a little more motivation some days. 🙂 I’d love to win it! I would love to win because I am finally getting back into reading again…it’s hard to find the time with a toddler in the house. 🙂
Sounds like a great book…I always love reading books that your passionate about. I’ve love to win it too! Why? I want to surround myself in positive role models to help me attain my 2014 running goals. This book sounds like it could offer some great wisdom 🙂
And if I don’t win…it’s going on my list of things to get in the new year (thanks for sharing).
So exciting (first giveaway)!! I have heard wonderful things about this book both from you and other runner-bloggers I follow. I would love this book because I have huge reading + running goals for 2014 to recommit and replenish my life with two of the things I love most in this world but too often cut out due to other “priorities.”
I’ll bite. I guess, I’d like to read it, because I want to share what inspire I can in this dark period in my life.
I know why I run but always find it interesting the reasons other people run. I love to be inspired, to look at things a different way, would love to win 🙂
I always love reading about the inspirations of others. I’m definitely adding this to my list to read/buy if I don’t win it!
Sounds like an interesting read! Count me in. 🙂
This sounds like a super interesting book! I’m such a book nerd, I’m always reading something. I followed all three of your pages too!
This sounds like such an interesting book. I’ll be honest, I’ve been leery of runner-y things like books and movies but after watching the Spirit of the Marathon last week, I think I’m ready to jump into the running book pool!
I’d like to read it to help convince myself to get back into running. Thanks to injury and then general wussiness in the cold means I haven’t run in ages.
I do not yet own any books about running…so why not win the first one? Santa will appreciate it if you take one item off his list! 🙂
Already had you on Facebook and Twitter, added you on Pinterest…that’s three more 🙂 🙂

I’d love a chance to win. 🙂 I just started running this year, finishing the C25k program and 3 5k’s in the process. I just read ‘Born to Run’ and was so caught up in it, it was great! I’d love to read this book, and will probably track it down if I’m not the winner. 🙂 thanks for the chance!
I LOVED born to run!!!
Done and done! I can’t believe I hadn’t followed your twitter account sooner!
I would LOOOOOVE to win this book! And why is that you ask? Well because running is the reason that I decided to make the change and get healthy. Back in June I wasn’t active at all. I was lazy, had poor eating habits and just didn’t take care of myself. A girlfriend of mine signed me up to run on a team with her for a 5k, and I didn’t want to be embarrassed by the fact that I couldn’t even run around the block, so I started training. Next thing I knew I was addicted. And here I am now, only 5 months later committed to change and training for my first half marathon in the spring. Well you read my blog, so you know what I mean 😉 and I say it to people all the time, I owe it all to that 5k.
I wanna win bc love to read..and I follow you on twitter @bostongirlruns! 🙂
