Good Morning, all.
Zach got that shot this morning from our rooftop. Talk about good morning, huh?
Sickie
You guys — I still am waking up almost every morning feeling like crap. This morning I finally had a little bit of drainage (TMI, I know), but the head ache and body aches continue. Fortunately, the symptoms seem to fade through the day (thank you excedrin) but I’m starting to get a little tired of the season allergies…or whatever they are! haha
Needless to say, I slept in an extra 45 minutes and did not get any yoga done. I am still hopeful that I can squeeze in a yoga session at lunch and get out for an easy run this afternoon if I’m feeling better. I’ll keep you guys up to date!
Last Night
Moving on from the boring, non happy stuff, I did have a bit of an exciting little thing happen last night.
The blog got it’s first gift yesterday 🙂
Baking Steel is a company with a great story who obviously knows their audience. This homemade pizza loving girl is excited to try this out this weekend :). Check out their website, seriously. They have a great story and mission — including working with the Great Boston Food Bank. Pretty awesome.
I’ll be back this weekend with a review after Zach and I certainly use it :).
Dinner
You all saw the photo post last night, but Zach and I had an AMAZING Dinner at Duo last night that included amazing cocktails, a starter or tomatoes and bread, and an entree of salmon, creamed corn and roasted veggies last night.
It was a perfect night and we left with full tummies and full hearts.
I also want to throw out a big THANK YOU for everyone showing the blog love on facebook . . . you guys are all amazing, seriously make me smile everyday 🙂
Question of the Day: Anyone else getting knocked down with allergies right now?
BOOO
Congrats! 🙂 And as for the allergy stuff, that’s a bummer. I had issues for about 2 weeks and then they subsided, so hopefully it won’t last too much longer.
I’m hopeful they go away — or I guess I could be smart and get it checked out. . . but I don’t want to do that if I don’t have to! ha
so far so good! I moved recently so I think my allergies are confused – I’m sure they will get their act together and make my life miserable soon enough. I hope your allergies calm down so you can feel better! Maybe try an allergy pill before you go to bed to help with your mornings?
I used to take allergy pills and haven’t even thought about that, that would be worth trying!
Congrats on your blog gift 🙂 Hope you feel better soon!!
Have you tried Sinus Rinse? They sell the kits at a lot of places (CVS, Target, sometimes Costco). I have chronic sinusitis, so that nasty nose bottle is my BFF. It helps with “drainage” and keeps things flowing haha. I hope you feel better soon!!!
yes! they’ve been really bad here this year…I went to the docs and got basically the whole pharmacy to take home, BUT SO WORTH IT. I feel to so much better after my allergy pills, nasal spray and 2 inhalers haha.
Interesting, maybe I should go tot he doctor! haha
Luckily, I’ve never had allergies. You hate me, right?
Just a little bit right now, yes.
I hope you feel better. Mine are spring allergies — it must be pretty horrible for you this year with all the rain we’ve had 😦 XOXOX
I’m hoping it takes care of itself soon. I’m not happy with it lol
you’re so cute, and gifts for bloggers are the best!!!
We were so excited! lol
You sure it’s allergies? If the symptoms are bad enough, maybe it’s a cold. Something’s been going around here, that’s for sure.
