Fun Running Survey

Best Run Ever

My best race was absolutely the Steamboat Half Marathon.

But I’d say the coolest and most unique run I’ve ever had was my run with my MOH the morning of my wedding.

To be running in Golden, CO, with my best friend, about ready to MARRY my other best friend — just made it a special run.  Doesn’t get any better than that.

Quirky Habit While Running

I am SUPER focused when I run — so I probably either look like I need to poop, or like I want to hurt someone.  It’s cute.

Morning, Mid-day, or Evening

I prefer mornings…but when it’s freezing I’m all about after work.

I Won’t Run Outside If It’s…

I have access to a treadmill in my building — so I’m a TOTAL wuss.  Rain, snow, cold, dark, I’m probably on the treadmill.

Worst Injury And How I Got Over It

I’ve been VERY lucky with injuries.  Only a minor case of runners knee, which kept me away from running for about a month.  God save Zach if I ever have to take off any longer.

Potential Running Goal For 2013

I am running the St Louis Half on October 27 — and my main goal is to just PR and/or FINISH the race.

Next Race Is

St Louis RnR baby!

An Exciting Blog Moment and Allergies Bite

Good Morning, all.

Zach got that shot this morning from our rooftop.  Talk about good morning, huh?

Sickie

You guys — I still am waking up almost every morning feeling like crap.  This morning I finally had a little bit of drainage (TMI, I know), but the head ache and body aches continue.  Fortunately, the symptoms seem to fade through the day (thank you excedrin) but I’m starting to get a little tired of the season allergies…or whatever they are! haha

Needless to say, I slept in an extra 45 minutes and did not get any yoga done.  I am still hopeful that I can squeeze in a yoga session at lunch and get out for an easy run this afternoon if I’m feeling better.  I’ll keep you guys up to date!

Last Night

Moving on from the boring, non happy stuff, I did have a bit of an exciting little thing happen last night.

The blog got it’s first gift yesterday 🙂

Baking Steel is a company with a great story who obviously knows their audience.  This homemade pizza loving girl is excited to try this out this weekend :).  Check out their website, seriously.  They have a great story and mission — including working with the Great Boston Food Bank.  Pretty awesome.

I’ll be back this weekend with a review after Zach and I certainly use it :).

Dinner

You all saw the photo post last night, but Zach and I had an AMAZING Dinner at Duo last night that included amazing cocktails, a starter or tomatoes and bread, and an entree of salmon, creamed corn and roasted veggies last night.

Question of the Day: Anyone else getting knocked down with allergies right now?
