Monday’s are my formal appointment days at work — so they are normally pretty busy. Today was SUPER busy, and I didn’t have a moments break between clients until after 3 PM.
The day was crazy — but a crazy day = a fast day, which is A-OK for this girl!
Zach had some errands he had to run today, including our favorite place in the world, the DMV — so I was a nice wife and let him have the car today. That meant after my crazy day, I got to sit down on the West Line train, and zone out for 20 or 30 minutes for my ride home.
Let me tell ya — it may take a little while longer to get home by train, but it is so nice to be able to put my feet up, read and enjoy a snack.
Not to mention, the 15 minute walk home in the sunshine isn’t quite too shabby either.
I got home — made some more cookies. . .
recipe tomorrow afternoon
And sat down to relax with Zach and some Boardwalk Empire.
A healthy girls cocktail — sparkling water and kambucha.
Not too shabby.
And now — I’ve been told I’ve got some Sequence playing and sandwiches waiting for me . I hope you all don’t mind if I save my recap for tomorrow :). Seems like I’m all about unwinding this Monday night.
Have a great Monday night all!
Question of the Night: What show are you guys in LOVE with right now?
Boardwalk Empire is our current obsession — but I know there are lots of good ones right now!
You just inspired me to make cookies. Not that I need them but they look AMAZING
They are awesome! I’ll have the recipe tomorrow 🙂
Modern Family is one of my faves! I watch so many other shows (ashamed face), but for some reason I can’t think of anything (yawny face)
Oh my gosh we LOVE Modern Family! We used to watch it religiously and fell off when we didn’t have TV in Chicago (BOOO to Modern Family only being on Hulu Plus!). . . but we still watch it every time we see it on!

I watched the new Michael J. Fox show last week and loved it. I also can’t wait to see the new show, “Sean Saves the World.” I try not to get too into TV, which is fairly easy because I only have around 6 channels. If it’s on NBC though the chances are I’ll enjoy it. I typically watch most shows online the day after and this season I’m looking forward to Dancing With the Stars (already started), The Voice (already started), The Biggest Loser, and then the two shows I mentioned above. 🙂
I’m a big fan of Modern Family and New Girl. Not really into much these days besides that. Oh, Shark Tank is another one, too!
Greys Anatomy! I recently started watching it from the start on Netflix, my boyfriend has banned me from watching it without him. I love it, but it does make me question life a bit, and will have me doing some very ugly crying!
HAHA — I LOVE that the boyfriend watches it with you!
Much like other teenage girls, I’m obsessed with Vampire Diaries.
HA — that doesn’t happen to be one of the shows you have producers credits, does it?
haha, I wish!
I’m still hanging on to How I Met Your Mother.
I don’t really miss the headachy parts of train commuting but I do miss that reading, snacking, and snoozing train time!
My family LOVES that show!
Anything on Bravo. And I unwind with a glass of red wine! It has antioxidants in it ;o)
Me and red wine are GREAT friends. As long as I only have one glass . . . two normally equals a bad head ache the next day!
mmmhmm. Gotta watch that!
To unwind I shower, put on pjs’s, and curl up on the couch with my daughter and fur baby. I don’t care what do or watch on tv, I just enjoy holding still for a few minutes in the evening:)
This sounds like complete bliss 🙂
